The First Step…

Representing Alya’s debut single, The Other Side is a song that tells the story of the journey to overcome her hesitation and release music of her own. Recorded in Calgary, Alberta with Shea Michael (@sheamichaelmusic) and Zaheed Damani (@zaheedmusic) with cover art by Jessie Borsellino (@jessiesedit), The Other Side was released in April of 2020.

The single was featured on Frisson Radio 89.5FM in Toronto, resulted in Alya being named Artist of the Month by Q Music Marketing, and was published in Melody Bites Magazine.
